but they were never actually that funny, and them trying to force a laugh into every second of runtime is probably why so many attempts to be funny don't work and make the show worse.

A while ago, he got into some deep shit with the FBI for making prank calls to people from Safeway's customer service database and decided to make prank calls full-time to pay back his restitution to the feds.
He's been running a podcast called the Snow Plow Show for about 15 years now and it's consistently very funny.
