The reality TV and gameshow skits are falling flat and there are too many of them. We get it, the Moms sketch was innovative and insulting your actors was funny the first few times, not so after the sixth time.

There should have been more directed and tightly edited comedy sketches, Sam's improv is not as good as he thinks it is.

WP was the culmination of everything they had made up to that point, but with a bigger budget and more people to help their vision come to fruition.
They were MAKING shit back in the day, that's why a lot of the ideas in World Peace felt so refreshing, that creative bone was still there.
They didn't make anything in 10 years, not ONE skit. Sam made a few skits here and there but not with the MDE crew, they are all rusty as fuck and all of the ideas in EP feel like something they had in mind for WP before Sam fucked it up for everybody.

Everything in EP is derivative, not one new idea so far. It would be cool if it was executed properly, but it isn't. Sometimes a bit could be funny if cut shorter, going full racist mode isn't as funny because they are self-funded, so they could pretty much just do a 6 episodes show in blackface saying nigger and no one would do a thing about it, while back in the WP era they had to be slick with it and that's what made it so funny. Shit, i don't even know how Sam convinced the jews that quadroon Sam was ok and not racist, but he did it and it was HILARIOUS.
I don't know. The racist angle feels hacky now (but i'll admit Erick Hayden fucking nailed doing that mexican accent in brownface), the "we're gonna fuck with wannabe actors" shit has been done to death before, no one cares about the redpill anymore because it reached the mainstream with rape ape Andrew Tate, so there's not enough substance in the show to make it funny.

If they go for season 2, they should really take all the criticism to heart and consider what they're going to do. Sam is trying to brush off some of the hate as "new fans from Fishtank" or something, but i think pretty much everyone who's an old fan and not a paypig think the show is awful.

I haven’t even watched since ep 2. That one was slightly better than the first episode (anything would be), but I opened the link from this thread and couldn’t bring myself to hit play. I’d be forcing myself to watch it out of some needless obligation, I have no desire to actually see its content when I know exactly how it’s going to be. In fact, I feel the opposite, a revulsion.

I don’t know what kind of magic they had back in the day, but it’s not even like “the magic is gone now”. Like they only now became washed up. For them to be in this bad a state, it feels like they must have been terrible, dumb people all along, who just happened to get lucky with a creative burst at the right time in the current culture.
