As for Jor-El being evil. Let's wait and see. The translation from Kryptonian may be correct, but there's clearly something wrong with the message itself. There's a glitch between the first part of the message and the second half. Supergirl does say that her uncle was kind of a dick, but that doesn't really mean much coming from a drunkard. It certainly doesn't mean evil. And Supergirl doesn't seem to be on it with the whole "conquer Earth agenda", nor do the super-robots, so what gives?
