>went from scary robot assassinations to motorbikes
I asked for this?
>>212554529 (OP)I look like this and do this
>>212554529 (OP)I want to fuck the Terminator bike
>>212554529 (OP)this movie is hated, but its currently the 3rd best Terminator film
>>212554529 (OP)Could you ride that? Like sit on top of the terminator looking dude?
>>212555172If John Connor were to ride a mototerminator, would it intentionally try to crash itself like a tesla?
>>212555172Only men can ride it since you have to plug your willy in to control it
>>212554529 (OP)Sending it to the past would require covering it with flesh... Should they send a male version or a female?
>>212554529 (OP)dang this is pretty badass
>>212555004Terminator 3 is the third best terminator film. Terminator Salvation is a handful of great ideas in an overall crap movie.
Terminator Genisys is a handful of bad ideas in a bad movie
And I never even watched that latest crap where they replaced John Connor with a mexican woman (and I never will).
>>212557515Anon you are my nigga I agree on every point
>>212554529 (OP)So he is the village bike?
>>212557515Imagine being this much of a brown faggot. Incredible.
>>212557306lol, I have a Motorolla also.
No one would have problem of Salvation if it had the color scheme of the future flashbacks.
>>212554529 (OP)The actual movie bike hunter looked a lot cooler
>>212557515T3 is literally just T2 over again.
>Schwarzenegger Terminator to protect John Connor>Biker bar except gay>New Terminator that's liquid metal but also endoskeleton for some reason>Sarah Connor except a new chick>Prevent Judgement Day... for real this time!I'll admit it has some cool moments like the fate ending and decent action but holy shit try a little bit of originality.
Honestly, if you just take *Terminator 1, 2, 3, and 4* as a cohesive story, it all makes sense. The first two movies lay down the core premise Judgment Day, John Connor, Skynet, and time travel. Then, *T3* is kind of the "fate is inevitable" moment, showing that no matter what you do, Judgment Day still happens. It ties the whole arc together, especially with John becoming the leader of the Resistance like it was always meant to be.
*Salvation* then continues from there, with John fully in the war against Skynet. Yeah, it's a bit of a tonal shift, but it still fits into the timeline John's role is set, and we're just seeing more of the future he's been destined for.
The real mess comes with *Genisys* and *Dark Fate*. Both try to rewrite or ignore previous movies, messing up the timeline and creating a lot of unnecessary confusion. It's like they forgot that the loop was the entire point of the series. So yeah, screw *5* and *6* the first four movies are the solid foundation, and everything after just feels like a cheap retcon.
Any terminator story after the mass adoption of the Internet doesn't work. Skynet instantly gets all of the worlds information and doesn't need to build concentration camps to study humans that slow down the early weeks of annihilation.
>>212554529 (OP)mmmmm wouldn't wanna mess with him
desu the timeline shit doesn't even hold up in Terminator 2 under scrutiny. But that's fine because it's still a good movie.
>>212555255No because they cannot self terminate, i guess itd slam the brakes
>>212562895Why would they try a originality? The story was done. Concluded. Ended. But the fans continue to demand more and don't care what it is. There's no reason to be original when you can just keep putting it out and they keep buying
>>212554529 (OP)I know most of /tv/ is read-it now so they will only see this as homosexual
Controversially, I like Genesys not for the overall plot, which was pretty mediocre, but the idea that the whole process of time travel has resulted in fractured timelines and various subfactions of Skynet and Resistance iterations trying to force the timeline to their own preferred end. Was an interesting idea that probably would have worked better as a comic rather than a film, especially the origins of Arnold and doctor who Skynet.
>>212562658Why would it have a USB port to be easily hacked by humans and ergonomically designed to carry a human? 20 years later and I'm still autistically triggered by this.
I think the future war sequence of Genysis was cool, it's tragic that we never got a proper future war movie
>>212563438T2 is screwy because the filmmakers forgot it's set in 1995 and just treat it as 1991.
>>212562658I like the skeleton one better
....why is it person shaped if its a motorcycle?
>instead of redoing THE TERMINATOR rated r and indie for the a24 crowd, james just does a soulless legacy sequel with his geriatric ex
Ok
>>212554529 (OP)so the question is did they come off the line looking retarded like this or did the AI just figure it was cheaper to repurpose mass produced terminator units into a mobile bike unit
>>212565769because it was originally designed by humans to be used by humans. so a machine for humans would need a way for humans to interact with it.
>>212557515> never even watched that latest crap where they replaced John Connor with a mexican womanit's funny you think that's the worst part of the movie. I envy you. (it's much worse than you can imagine)
>>212567795I had no idea it was set in 1995, or I forgot or never cared.
>We defeated the Terminator and lived happily ever after. I still miss Reese. He was wearing some homeless bums shitty pants, stunk really bad. But oh how I wish he'd pop through another portal and fuck me again one more time.
>>212568735>because it was originally designed by humans to be used by humans. so a machine for humans would need a way for humans to interact with it.Motorcycles were, yes. But this shit was designed by machines in a machine dominated world. Why would they choose to make an attack vehicle based off a motorycle for humans?
>>212570738You know that even in T1 lore, Skynet lost the war right? It was never really bright.
>>212570826Whats that got to do with it?
>>212570562i just realized this is why sarah connor is always talking to the audience throughout the movie
>>212570738because an AI doesn't think how a human does. its only information is the information humans have given it. even if its goal is to destroy all humans it only knows how to do that the way humans taught it. we taught it how a bike should be so it made a bike. we taught it the way to interface with machines is through ports. so it uses ports. it only knows what humans know. AI can't be original it can only modify what is already knows.
>>212554529 (OP)gay as fuck
the actual bike from Terminator Salvation looks cooler
>>212572245Skynet isnt like our shitty version of AI though. And its clearly capable of inventing new shit by itself.
>>212572758I was surprised how much practical stuff they made for T4
>>212570562She could have just found Reese when he was a little kid and groomed him.
>>212573860holy fuck I forgot they picked Yelchin for young Reese
>>212555004This movie got hatred what it deserves
Any post 2015 films are nepobabytier trash doesn't make salvation outstanding
>>212568872I don't think it's ever explicitly stated anywhere unlike T1 where they tell you it's May 12, 1984. But John was born in 85 and he's 10 in T2, so it's taking place sometime in the summer of 1995.
>>212570738>But this shit was designed by machines in a machine dominated world.Says who? Skynet co opts all its tech from the us gov as shown in the end of t3. How is it going to.have factories after starting global nuclear war
They should just make salvation again but with lasers this time like the war used to be portrayed in the first movie
>>212575171They did. It's called Terminator Resistance
>>212572245>AI can't be original it can only modify what is already knowsIt theoretically can be when itโs reached a singularity point beyond our ability to measure its intelligence and capability. Have you never heard of AGI before?
