I show scrubs all the time on my streaming channel. Still holds up after over a decade. It's at least better than the so called comedy they trowel out today.

As posted already, they made tranny jokes (I know there was more than just that one) and was a nice slice of life at a hospital for the early seasons. I listened to an interview. Might have been the Scrubs Rewatch Podcast.
And the showrunner Bill Something said the idea behind the S9 was that they tried to make an infinite spinoff machine where they show new students and switch characters every couple of seasons to show the new students.
In theory a decent concept if done right but the problem is at some point you told every hospital story you can tell and it becomes this soulless slop

Well duh that's the plan - they know people have delusional nostalgia for old shows, that's why they bring them back. Then everyone remembers why they were cancelled. They never go for long. Can anyone name a reboot that actually lasted? Not including shows that were axed from one network and achieved success later on another, I'm talking were successful on a network, got axed, a few years in between, and had a successful run similar to the original series, a revamped show rather than a handicap version using nostalgia as a crutch.
