Man of Kino is 5, fixing some shit could push it for a 6, but nowhere near a 7 as it was. Superman 2025 is a solid 7, nothing more, nothing less. The good thing is that it can only get better from now on.

Line delivery is fucking terrible. All the actors and actresses are ugly as hell. Pa and Ma kent are ridiculous hillbilly caricatures. Using Boravia as a transparent Russia stand-in is pretty absurd. Arguing with Lois scene is where I'm at now, tuning out as he acts like a little child being told off about politics by a woman.

I think it was the tone more than anything else, although some of the decisions the writers made weren't that great either (for example Pa Kent's death and Lex Luthor as a whole).
Otherwise I really enjoyed that direction.

Pretty good ranking. Christopher Reeve remains the best Superman regardless of the movie's quality or even lackthereof, but I've always felt like the character has been done better in animation overall.
"Vs the Elite" is as Superman as you can get.
