he doesn't even. He only cries about killing Zod. After that scene he's casually telling Martian Manhunter how he's just as American as they come and they should trust him, while the female Lieutenant quips about how hot he is. Then the movie ends with him smiling introducing himself as Clark to Lois Lane, presumably while people outside are busy clearing the streets of the millions of tons of debris and thousands of dead.

My favorite is when he takes a moment to kiss Lois Lane in the ashes of Metropolis because it means he was so horny that it turned off his super-hearing to ignore all the survivors trapped under rubble.

Lmfao he has to use that because in SnyderSlop there's basically no shots of superman smiling and laughing all lit up like that. Snyders movies are so fucking bad Josh had to come in and change them and make them all fucked up and backwards to damage control for how dark and stupid they were which just made them worse because it added them being completely inconsistent baahahahahahahah

I hate how now I must look at some titanic battle or city wide destruction, and belive theres no casuality when in reality there would be a shit ton. Imagine how lame it will be if Darkseid or Anti-Monitor shows up and no ones dies.

Nobody is butthurt that there was destruction in the city. When Superman is really fighting somebody then yeah, there will be destruction. You fucking idiots just don't understand the criticisms that people make.
And even in that cartoon, there was blood. Superman was getting the shit beaten out of him. In Snyder's movie, there's like nothing. It doesn't look like anyone is actually getting hurt. They just fight and a bunch of explosions happen and then finally someone just goes down.

They aren't? Are you sure? People Lost their shit back then and still do if there's no explanation to civilians lifes, even when the battle should leave obvious casualities.
>In Snyder's movie, there's like nothing. It doesn't look like anyone is actually getting hurt
Because Superman doesn't bleed that easy, kryptonians were shown to be tough, and that made more sense considering how tough he would news to be to fight Darkseid. Say what you want, but Snyder's Superman feels much more powerful than Gunn's by that alone, which sells Superman being the strongest being on the planet

The fact that Superman dosn't give a shit about collateral is the problem. He litteraly drags Zod all the way from the Kent farm into a gas station and the middle of town for no reason.

imagine being some wagie who looks out his office window to see Superman DBZ punching his nemesis and then the shockwave causes the ceiling to start collapsing and the last thing you see before you're buried in a grave of cement while you hear the wailing of people being crushed by the falling debris from the streets is Superman's red cape fluttering in the wind as he flies off

You realize that it's a screenplay? If the writer's story leads to a shitty ending, they can rewrite it differently.

No superhero from any franchise gives a shit about collateral damage. It's just in every other super hero franchise with only a small handful of exceptions the side effects of the titular hero's actions is completely handwaved away. Every single superhero movie made since like 2000 has involved large scale battles between superhumans which in reality would result in hundreds of innocent civilian deaths and thousands of lifechanging injuries at an absolute bare minimum. I don't even need to get into the weeds about whether or not making the ethics of collateral damage a focus of your superhero movie is a good thing, the point is the norm is for superheroes to not care and not address the obvious collateral damage they're clearly causing in their battles with the big bad.

The script comes out of Langley, like top gun. They try to sell us on Snyder or Gunn being great writers, which leads to believe it's the opposite. They might be allowed to tweak little things but for the ost part they aren't really running the show. Too much is at stake.
