This arbitrarily forced him to set the movie in a rocky wasteland, which although it had some pretty scenery, was terrible for this amazing discovery movie. It was empty and bland compared to it being full of wonders and spookiness. Prometheus should have been its own series

You can tell Ridley is VERY tired of the xenomorph. He only extremely reluctantly put it in the movie. Everything about it and its life cycle is sped up to a retarded degree. The alien implants, births, and grows to full size in 5-10 minutes now. This little guy came out of the religious dude and was full size battling them a few minutes later. Some guy (very few names in this movie are memorable) gets a facehugger on him and while still conscious and breathing it is removed. He's fine right? Another guy sacrificed his life to get it off and the acid burned the guy's cheek, but he didn't pass out and no egg was put in. He's doing great, walking around, scared and sore in the cheek but no chest pain or anything. Not like ten minutes later he gives birth to a xeno which is full size 1.5 minutes later and killing people. What the fuck, Ridley?

This is one silly part. David immediately decides that he is better and Weyland is lesser because David is "immortal". Why wouldn't that make David at least be thankful and happy his progenitor made him even if he'll die off eventually?
