The first season has a much more subdued tone than what follows so if you're more amenable to slow-burn dramas you'll probably prefer it. Most started really loving the show season 2 on though.

If you don't think it's good by the end of the first season, you're a brainlet and this show is not for you. Stop wasting your time.

>I see Siobhan Roy and her doughy ass in a tight dress across a crowded room
>I immediately drop into an olympic level sprint, beelining my way to her, knocking women and children out of the way. I tackle her legs and hold on for dear life.
>I go face first into her asshole as we tumble to the ground
>She screams, but I don't hear it - my face is red and my ears are already ringing like a million alarm bells are going off in my head
>I am thrashing my head between her cheeks like a possessed gorilla having a seizure, I am grunting and snarling and growling. I am not in control.
>My grip on her thighs is permanent. 20 men try to pull me off but I am like a pitbull holding onto a baby. No living man can deprive me of my stinky, sweaty prize. It is my right.
>She is screaming, flailing, crying. It doesn't matter at all to me. In the end, I have to be killed to be removed from her shitter. I have died to motorboat her ass. It is worth the dear price.
>Even after I die, through lifelong therapy sessions, I never really release my grip. Shiv dies with one thought in her mind, the man who would not let go

I admittedly haven't watched a lot of TV shows aside from the ones everyone talks about, but Succession is the only TV show I watched that fell like a kino complete story from start to end and it didn't drag on incessantly or have a wet fart of a finish.

I'm not exaggerating. Literally the only show I watched like this.

If you don't like the first season there's no use in continuing because all the other seasons just repeat the same exact story.

Fair assessment. For me, I loved it even with the repetition of plot points. I see it more as a comedy than a drama.

The repetition of plot points (especially the overarching child vs. father dynamic) served a dramatic purpose too as far as cementing the fact these characters were trapped in a cycle of abuse they could never meaningfully rise above even after the abusive figure they feared/loved is gone.
