Man I forgot just how ass this movie is was, especially coming off of casino royale. Biggest blue balls in a long while, maybe since phantom menace.

Just fucking piss poor plot, forgettable bond villain, little humor or romance, TERRIBLE editing as in it’s some of the worst I have seen in a long time (car chase scene not lasting one single mother fucking second before cutting) and so on. Just awful.

i think its the weak villain and stupid water resource plot?
but the whole movie is basically a chase scene. I found it enjoyable. especially the opera scene.

They got spooked by the Bourne trilogy and went too hard into the shitty YOU CAN TELL THIS IS ACTION PACKED BECAUSE YOU CAN'T TELL WHAT'S HAPPENING AT ALL editing

Best entry of the Craig series. Felt the most bond-dramatic and felt like a real movie, not a typically hyper-woke BBC-produced nightmare like all the rest that came after.

Yes, and that was SO obvious. BUT there was also a legit desire to make Bond a bit less goofy, that was an affectation that took hold after Connery (whose Bond films all sucked)
