I've only watched anime for the past 3 years. What kino have i missed out on?

Absolutely nothing.
There has not been a decent movie since the DnD movie and I think before that there wasn't anything decent since before the pandemic.
the 2 DUNC movies are worth watching., but they are a poor adaptation of DUNE. Especially the 2nd one, its a mess.

I stopped watching movies after La La Land won an oscar. I recently watched Good Time and Uncut Gems and decided they might be making good movies again. What's been good since 2016?

Ditching the horror aspect freed it up to have fun with the character. There is action, comedy, science fiction stuff, its just a fun movie.
