Even the worst of the original series, which I think is season 6 (it somewhat improves in 7 and 8) still has some enjoyable shocking or comedic scenes, and ends with a major shakeup/reveal that's essential if you're gonna watch anything more recent

First 2 episodes were surprisingly kino
It's not trying too hard, so it doesn't feel like they're waiting for you to appreciate it and congratulate them on a 5 minute long tracking shot for example. But at the same time, it's competent with no glaring issues. Just some nice contrivances so that the story can happen.
Better than Original Sin and New Blood so far.

clyde philips basically mastered things like dialogue, how to structure a scene, how to do scene progression etc And because of that, even with some flaws this show is super watchable and overall very good
