Why did it filter so many retards

Cut out the retarded Power Rangers shit at the end, and I would have liked it just fine. That gutted any interest I had in the sequel. I was already concerned with Nia Decosta’s involvement, but I was still willing to give it a chance, but that retarded tonal shift put a bullet between its eyes.

the horror genre is reliably bankable precisely because there is a large audience of retards will go see even the most generic slop. the downside is that when an actual great horror movie comes out the same people are confused and alienated. its still the best film of the year to date as well.

I'm sure this thread will turn out just fine

Best comedy movie I've seen in theaters in years. Whole theater was busting a gut throughout.

I genuinely think they forgot that it wasn’t the cult leader guy who had the Power Ranger toy at the beginning.

are you retarded or something? 28 days later had a light hearted music video sequence in the grocery store, a dramatic slow motion scene of a family of horses that made Brendon Gleeson cry and literally shows a field of flowers through a cartoonish filter

>>212599553
Decosta was not involved with the writing at all, everything on screen is because of Boyle and Garland

I missed them calling the kid Jimmy at the beginning so I thought all the Jimmy foreshadowing was building up to a Cillian Murphy appearance. Imagine my surprise when this scene happened.

Why are you still shilling it
It flopped and everyone forgot about it after a week aside from the retarded ending
The fact that they actually thought they could turn this into a 3 part epic is hilarious and already DOA

Including that zombie that looked like him I can guarantee you that was all by design.

That trailer really did a great job with misdirection.

Aaron Johnson's character is also called James, so I mentally blanked on the boy at the start having blonde hair and assumed it was his backstory.

weirdly, Cillian Murphy's character in 28 Days is ALSO called Jim. so the stage seems to be set for Spike being in the middle of a three-way tug of war between three different father figures all with the same name. seems like the ingredients for epic family drama horror kino.
