There's no demand for Dick Tracy anymore. It was not even popular when the film released, hence why it underperformed. You should be happy though cause you know that once modern Hollywood gets it's hands on it, Dick will be buck broken by a big black man within the first 5 minutes. Whatever happened to these fims based off 1930s-40s properties anyway. Shit like The Shadow or The Phantom, I wanted a 90s adaptation of Doc Savage dammit.

I remember it being atleast a little popular when this came out, the cartoon was already rerunning for awhile before the movie came out.
Shame, this movie has top shelf aesthetics and really feels like a good adaption with minimal interference to get kids to watch it.
