This was the episode that proved how out of touch they were in their neoliberal elite bubble. The Book of Mormon taking off is what cemented them as part of the Hollywood elite, thus permanently ruining any chance of South Park ever being truly subversive or interesting ever again.

When South Park was just a silly cartoon made by two twentysomething nobodies with nothing to lose, they could say and do whatever they wanted. Now they're afraid to get cancelled and lose their fame, riches and connections. But 'Oh Jeez' showed it goes beyond that, it shows that they were so out of touch that they didn't even think there was a chance Trump could win, because in their little leftist bubble everyone hates Trump. And obviously it's harder to see through bullshit when all of your friends and everyone around you believes in it.
