>>212633581 (OP) The action looks good but the premise, to me, seems like one of those things where I have to believe everyone's an idiot to get through the movie.
>>212633581 (OP) The Arnold one was goofy but it had some classic lines in there, like pic rel. The new one seems mid. Manhunt is still the best adaptation of this book. /v/ as usual wins again.
>>212635084 when the moment and situation is appropriate, it's a good move. Picture a hot girl jokingly giving her own ass a little slap. It's hot, and unisex (ie. works both ways)

>>212635169 Had a great soundtrack also www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYmkzdgIVX8
Surprisingly influential too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrYZAW6pVhE
This looks way too quippy and wacky for an adaptation of an ugly and nihilistic short story. Richards finds out near the end that his wife and kid were murdered before he ever went on the show so all of it was for nothing.
>>212634566 Yes. Arnold's movies have soul. But you zoomies keep trying to pretend your unnecessary, uncreative remakes of classics are anything but soulless slop.
>>212633581 (OP) Gay? Buddy, this trailer is gay is fuck. It's passable as an action comedy of 2025, I'll watch it for Josh Brolin and William H. Macy and the main guy ain't too bad either, but let's be clear about something: this is digital slop and it looks just as shitty as you'd expect from a digital slop.
>>212637781 >main guy ain't too bad Ain't too good either. I thought Aaron Taylor-Johnson was the go-to actor when Hollywood wanted their lead to have absolute zero charisma.

>>212633581 (OP) Did not care much for the book, but the movie is one of underappreciated Arnold kinos
>be obese opera singer >get to make a cool movie with Arnold and show off your singing skills >die of heart failure at age 34, a few months after finishing the movie and one day after your first wedding anniversary
