I am going to use this thread to bring up a nitpick I have never seen brought up elsewhere - anyone else weirded out how they erected a statue to Superman in BvS? For the 'realistic take' I can't see how he'd be anything other than so controversial that making a statue of him is a total non-starter.

Yes I give snyder credit for actually trying something unique and attempting to elevate capeshit into capekino, to create a modern mythology that isn’t just endless quips and another popcorn movie. It didn’t always work but at least he tried, man
