All they had to do was not have Kang job to fucking Ant Man. But they did and it simply showed how completely incompetent they were when it comes to telling any kind of compelling story. Just completely mindless. Quantumania pulled the curtain back in their whole fast food assembly line of slop philosophy. Stock price is the only think that matters. Betting on it increasing in value (share price) is the only thing that matters. Literally nobody gives a fuck about profits if the share price goes up. In fact having profits can be seen as bad because it means you are taking money out of the business when it's in its growth phase instead of putting that money back into the business to grow it even more.

Netflix has never made a dime of profit but it took over the industry by following that blueprint exactly.

There was a window for the legacy companies like Disney to compete with Netflix but they blew it by churning out nothing but slop like Book of Boba Fett and Obi Wan and blue haired woke slop like Willow that had to be removed from the service because it was so bad.

If Disney has kept pumping it pre Endgame level quality they would have better compared with Netflix but we all know how that went.

I'm torn on this one being any Marvel slop with known IP does at least OK. Yet for some reason the F4 franchise is just cursed. Every single film is just absolute trash, except for Alba running around in a body suit.

Materialists is currently 2.5 times it's budget and going to make well over 3 times it's budget once foreign markets all come in. So it did very well but the funny thing is Pascal's twitterstans all complained/refused to see the movie because he just played a creepy manlet who got height surgery and was third wheel to the happy white couple in Dakota Johnson and Chris Evans.

So the point is that movie did well despite Pascal and his loser fanbase.
