Gunn isn’t planning on a direct Superman sequel or franchise. Why he put out a Supergirl movie. And a Lanterns spin off. Rebuild the brand for a World’s Finest Team up.

It's obviously a Supergirl/Superman team up. People who think it's World's Finest are setting themselves up for disappointment.

God damn, just make a Superman 2 and give us someone else besides Lex and Zod, a lot of his villains are niche but if he can make Mr Terrific work he can make somebody like Parasite or Atomic Skull work, although we are long overdue for Brainiac

Gunn isn't planning anything because he knows his contract won't be renewed next year when the time comes.

Rebuilding the brand works a lot better when your rebooted brand is actually cool and hip and not lame.

No. Gunn already planned on this from the start why he immediately put out a Supegirl movie before Superman was even released. Snyder was planning MOS 2 but after it nose dived, WB went into full damage control and demanded Batman be in the next one to sell it. By all accounts Gunn and WB knew Superman isn’t gonna to be a major blockbuster. But if Supergirl does well, team up possibly could get Deadpool-Wolverine results
