It was surprisingly wholesome, my only real gripe with it is that it never really took a breather between action scenes.

I liked it, and I'm a (kinda) normie as it can be. My only issue with the movie is precisely how it WASNT made for normies, and seeing as the movie is in media res, most of the new characters that weren't in previous Superman movies (like the Justice Gang team, or Krypto) are just thrown at you and you're expected to know who they are.

Comic book readers will Kreygasm watching this, which is great bc FINALLY a piece of nerdcontent is made into film that isnt dumbdown for normies or indians
