I dropped it after first season. They found deus ex money in the tomato cans and all their problems were solved. Plot doesnt matter, aesthetic of improving a restaurant isnt there because mc outsourced that to a rookie chef with no expirience for some reason, and biggest moments of the first season were forced emotional moments. So I made an educated guess that going forward it will be more stupid intercharacter drama with the dinner as a backdrop

This is something so frustrating to me, the writers keep making characters talk about how great Sydney is. But we're 4 seasons in and we've never actually seen her be great. They've had four seasons to demonstrate to us what an amazing chef Sydney is and they haven't done it a single time.
