It seems like they're speedrunning the entire 2nd half ot the series. The trans character from A Game of You, the emptying of Hell, finding Destruction, Orpheus and the Kindly Ones.

There's a whole setup where he isn't allowed to participate in a women-only magical ritual but still steps up and sacrifices himself to save everyone and it's hinted he's a woman in the afterlife. IDK, it actually feels earned after you read it play out. I genuinely don't mind 90's levels of woke.
