This is the sort of thing that studios let a director do to patronize them and let them feel like an artiste in exchange for signing on for some other more exciting big budget slop. Seems to be an attempt at a thriller with no thrills.

This has a few sex scenes. A really random one between Kirby and Law that added very little to the story.
And then a couple with Ana and her boytoys where the point was basically "look how much random sex she has with her servants" and highlights the way she breeds jealousy and loyalty.
Sweeney doesn't have any sex scenes but does show off a boob quite randomly to the point I half wonder if she forced it into her contract.

I just put it on, littered with historical inaccuracy and hacky dialogue.

12 mins in and nearly ever6 scene is a cliche.

The actors are doing well with selling this shit but it comes off as a western frontier story without any of the action shit written by people who have never grown a garden or camped in their life.

A pack of wild dogs just ran into a shack right next to where the characters were talking and they didn't hear it and the dogs chewed through cans lol
