Lem was barely a character and one of the show's weak points. At least Ronnie was a non-character, whereas Lem was okay with doing whatever Vic told him until the plot needed him to be a bleeding heart idiot for drama. The Shield is a good show but wildly overrated, it had a lot of slop moments and it particulary didn't age well with that ADHD cinematography and writing for some episodes. anyone thinking its on the same level as the wire or sopranos is delusional.
