my problem with this new version of the new chingu chart is the split into categories, you obviously struggled to complete the "melodrama" row while there's enough material for 3 rows of "action/thriller/crime" which thus end up really underrepresented. It's a fantasy, mystery thriller, romance, melodrama with supernatural action scenes and flashbacks to the Joseon period even though it takes place in the modern world so it is sort of a medley. I guess the real anchor is the fact that all these myths and fantastical creatures are indeed real and that the normal people need to deal with them. So it's a fundamentally a fantasy. You don't have a fantasy category though so romance it is. Btw Alchemy of Souls has nothing to do with history and is a complete fantasy/fictional story so why would you put it in that category.

Well directed and well written (for the most part), but I am prudent since a lot of kdrama blow 80% of their budget on the pilot.
Also I am a bit wary since the screenwriter doesn't hesitate to pull the most contrived bullshit out his ass if he need it (like that serial killer who is identified by a witness, his house is raised and the bodies are found, but he gets to walk free the following day because not enough .... evidence)

Sadly years ago as I watched Que Sera Sera the infamous episode 9 the ML attempted to rape the FL. He was interrupted and she was able to escape but within minutes the FL kissed him passionately in the street. Much of the comments from females, I was almost alone with my disgust, tried to justify or minimize what he did and there was an understanding why the FL loved him despite his emotional and sexual abuse. Tangerine, I didn't rate it because I dropped it @ep 2, not of a fan of this writer in general, you need to like shows where everything is dramatically overblown and characters are constantly yelling at each other. If you like subdue, slow burn melodrama just skip it.
