I gain more respect for him all the time, because pretty much every time I watch some old 40s horror movie, or 60s exploitation movie, I realise that something in one of his movies was a reference to it. His movies are very meticulously made, it's just that most people don't get what he's doing. I watched The Ghost of Frankenstein recently and I was surprised to see a scene from H2 was a recreation of it. You know you're a true horror autist when you're homaging the 4th entry in the Frankenstein series rather than entry level stuff like Psycho, like that fraud Ti West does all the time.

Out of completionism autism I must. I'm just going to treat it as a "what-if" because The Devil's Rejects ending was perfect and made me super emotional, so I'm not really invested in seeing the characters alive again.

Cool to hear about El Superbeasto, I was leaving it for last because even Zombie fans seem to hate it. It's funny that he made his most serious and emotionally heavy movie ever AND a cartoon sex comedy in the same year.

Yeah, she was a breath of fresh air for me because she is one of the few party girl type characters to make it (nearly) to the end of a slasher. I was expecting her to die like 10 minutes in, so I got extremely invested when I realised, like 45 mins in, that she was the main teenage character and might make it to the end. When she died it was like my favourite soccer team let in a goal at the 90th minute. Gut wrenching!!!
