They just cut the jokes out if they're music related. The same thing happened when Duckman finally got a DVD release, even the characters just singing some songs got cut and entire jokes were removed since it would be nonsensical.

Red Dwarf was too but they still put it out on blu ray just so there would be no bitrate limits and it would be the best quality there would ever be. It's funny how some shows used film and others used video, even Frasier and Cheers both used film from their debut episodes and so did Seinfeld.

Seinfeld was Jew big to fail.
Drew Carrey was an unknown fat guy with an accordion. Came out during a swathe of mediocre comedians getting sitcoms which mostly failed spectacularly. They underestimated Drew and ,through his common sense and heart, he became a household name.

Maybe shows will have their own Stop Killing Games movement someday but I doubt it, Hollywood is a bigger beast the the gaming industry.

There are also a few shows that are just flat out gone from distribution, I don't even recall what they were but they were underperforming originals made by Netflix and Disney, and they got dropped and disappeared one day. They weren't good shows at all obviously but still, there were some fans somewhere and it is now impossible to get those shows again unless links to old rips remain up.

Brilliant show. I love how as the show went on and the ratings were dropping, they turned up the ante on the absurdity. Drew probably didn't care because he was raking in cash on Whose Line and wound up hosting The Price Is Right. Dude practically owns ABC.

And I remember it being a fun show, especially the gag episodes where you were to write in all the silly shit you saw in the episode.
