The studio didn't want to make it because there was nothing suggesting it could make money. The Wheel of Time was supposed to be a Conan show but the dyke at the top said no, now that it's been proven to flop they go back to Conan but they ofcourse cannot feature a big white dude doing barbarian shit so we get whatever the hell this is.
