Why would you make a Shin Gojira 2? It was an extremely specific film about the failures of the Japanese government during the Fukushima disaster. Cool monster scenes (like King Ghidorah attacking Godzilla’s tail) were either left unfinished or just cut out from the movie for more time for human scenes or to save money. The fights were boring and short. All of the good scenes were trailer spoilers. The monsters moved way too fast, and this was the start of the decline of realism, the fantastic realism and grounded tone that Gareth Edwards cultivated in Godzilla 2014 was gone in the SECOND Godzilla film. Film is full of gay beta male redditard characters, bitchy black bull dykes, and stupid kid characters and ugly hag women. These characters should have never been in the movie in the first place. Cast was horrible. Monster fight scenes were always in the background or zoomed in or quick cut to something else or some stupid futuristic spaceship got in the way of the fight. Fuck this film so much. It’s full of bullshit. Watched it once and will never watch it again.

That’s true. Another reason why that movie is so shit. The Antarctica scene had a snow storm over everything but they still scrapped the monster scenes in that fight for budget and run-time reasons.
The Rodan volcano scene was okay but Rodan moved too quick, looked almost like a puppet, and the CGI looked fake and should have been better. Rodan vs King Ghidorah fight was such a disappointment and not satisfying at all! Already hard to see because of the lightning storm (how convenient that the one monster has a storm following them all the time! This couldn’t possibly be a trick to save money by obscuring everything from view, including our shitty CGI!) and the fight only lasted three one or two second scenes which meant the on-screen fight was a total of about FIVE SECONDS! The fucking fight scene kept cutting to the retarded human characters in the retarded futuristic spaceship ripped straight out of MCU faggotry.
The rest of the monster scenes were almost always clouded by some sort of environmental elements. Especially the final fight scene which was in the middle of a storm and always kept cutting away when something cool could have happened. So dissatisfying and aggravating.
