I never read Punisher comics but based on all the art I've seen, etc. I get the impression Castle is outwardly very reserved/repressed and articulate whilst being laconic. If that impression is correct that would make Bernthal not that faithful because he isn't any of those things

I watched the first season of this thing, thought it was pretty cool. Bit silly but its comic books right? Then I watched the second season and the bad guy was cool but for some reason the producers kept making Jon Bernthal bark like a dog? It was pretty frigging cringeworthy.
