The only two things people remember from this movie are the longtake with drum solo and the frog face girl

Nice movie. People discount it because it's different, and people suck it off because it's different. And it turns out Edward Norton can actually act

I think the CGI superhero/flying scene was a risky swing and didn't land well. knocks the wind out of what would maybe be a perfect movie otherwise, I understand the point of it but it just didn't do it for me

It’s kino and I’m tired of pretending it’s not.

The gayest and most pretentious movie I have ever seen. I only saw the first half, and the deleted the mkv file. It was like a circle jerk of self-absorbed celebrities with the false promise of a superhero film.

KEK you actually got upset it wasn't just capeshit

Teen me walked into the theater expecting capeshit, it was anything but.
I walked out super confused, turns out it's actually some existential flick about the vapidity of starhood or something, not at all what I expected having watched the trailers. Back when actors were lauded as the second coming of Jesus Christ you know that era of Hollywood worship people might have cared, it probably still holds up to cinemaheads today, but I don't expect anyone else to particularly enjoy this movie now

Not true I also remember two babes making out with each other, and Batman and the Hulk wrestling in their underpants.

To be fair, Antonio Sanchez is a pretty awesome percussionist.

Great concept and movie absolutely ruined by fake longtake that has no fucking thematic or narrative purpose. Such a stupid and distracting gimmick.

They don't need to make movies about actors. Actors aren't interesting, they're things useful to present interesting things like cowboys, astronauts, and cowboy astronauts.

>every cartel guy had the drink
Yeah, this was way too much in Gus favor. The bodyguards usually dont drink from boss's bottle.
>every nazi stood in the line of fire
Now, that one makes sense. There were like 10 of them, and also had a person with nothing to lose in that room. Them standing means that they were vigilant.

its kino, great concept but also a bit pretentious being a movie about actors, it fits really well with the capeshit movie heights of 2010s, a lot of fun to watch.
Still love many quotes in this movie.
Look at these People their eyes, they love sparkling, they love action, they love blood. Not this talky, depressing, philosophical bullshit,
and the next time you screech.....it'll explode into millions of eardrums. You'll glimmer on thousands of screens around the globe. Another blockbuster. You are a god.

An insanely realistic look at life in theatre, all wrapped up in a gimmick of a one-shot film and Keaton is insane enough to both be involved and pull it off.
