Kind of feeling like the definitive 'evil superman' film just won't get made until we're reprocessing capeshit around 2028 - 2032. A lot of good opportunities to stake out the space but they just never get quite at what made it a good concept for a story.

Got off to a good start in season 1. And then he was perfect in Diabolical and GenV. And they show enough each season that I get the feeling they *could* have made it into a decent story about evil superman, but they'd need a miracle to pull it off in one more season.

Honestly 'The Boys' could use a few characters showing up from alternate timelines where Homelander already wrecked Earth and fucked off into space or some shit.
