Script details leaked and apparently it's about a medieval peasant being turned into a werewolf and having a whole trial/witch hunt which ends with enraged villagers killing his wife and family so they don't turn into wolf people. Film implies some witches turned this peasant into a kind of werewolf because he displeased them in some way or the other. It sounds like misery porn but with an intellectual, period piece veneer.
