>>212870108 Mos was one of the most hopeful movies ever bad and BvS is one of the stories in all of fiction. Like Eisenberg Lex was one of the scariest antagonists ever for fuck's sake, Doomsday was thematically more complex that anything Dostoevsky wrote. What MORE do you want??
>>212870508 Not really. Superman is a tough sell. Not doing well overseas because heโs too American and the world is seething at the US right now. An easy sell is Batman or Spider Man
>>212870090 (OP) it was the first movie i've seen in theaters since Rise of Skywalker. they finally got my ass back in a theater seat and all they had to do to make it happen was say fuck Zionists.
>>212871825 nah lex told her to jump off of superman before he crashed, superman checked on her and we saw from lex's point of view, she was just unconcious (fucking somehow)
>>212870090 (OP) The only thing I dislike about the film is that Superman gambles with Engineer's life in slamming into the ground, she ends up unconscious but Superman couldn't have known for sure. Just have her detach before he hits the ground, then say she's too short of liquid metal because the nanites that stayed in Kal's lungs got killed when he hit the ground and she has to leave the fight
>>212870090 (OP) It did lower than Man of Steel's opening weekend though, without even adjusting for inflation And has only just barely broke 300m It has to do like, 800m to turn a profit

>>212875495 i like that David is making a bunch of money by playing the lead in a movie that's vehemently anti-Israel, though. dare say i wish more actors were getting paid a bunch of money to play roles in anti-Israel movies. those Palestinians may not outlive the apartheid state of Israel, but their deaths will be a signficant factor in ensuring that the rest of us gentiles do.

> In its first week at the box office, Superman has taken in just over $11M, and the new DCU is off to a great start with Aussies.

some one explain to me why superman returns flopped? Its infinitely better than this and the snyder movies. Jimmy Olsen actually uses his camera in that movie. Superman spends the entire movie saving people. The ending is hopeful. Lex is played by a good actor. The score is beautiful. Yeah its not great but its better than this slop.
>>212870090 (OP) >Decides not to count MoS previews despite counting S25's previews >Decides not to account for inflation >Decides not to account for the international box office numbers This is beyond cope.
So? It also dropped 67% its second week and this movie at most will be 53%.itโs also going to have a way bigger domestic when itโs out of theaters.
>>212880351 >itโs also going to have a way bigger domestic when itโs out of theaters. And a much, much worse international. Face it, it won't reach MoS numbers, and that's before we take inflation into account.
>>212870090 (OP) >Sensationalist clickbait article >Ignores inflation >Ignores preview sales for Man of Steel Gunnshills will ride the cope train 'til the very end huh?
>>212881047 Movie ticket prices donโt mirror inflation you uneducated retard. If tickets cost $16 like they do now in 2013 people wouldโve burnt the theaters down
