>>212879285he was alright, nothing too amazing though, i feel the humor and simplicity of the film kinda took away the potential for having a deeper character development you know, something like questioning what heroism and what doing the right thing really means and entails, like one moment he's questioning the meaning of his existence, the next the stupid dog is doing stupid shit and the atmosphere just fizzles away
We never really got into pushing the boundaries of the goody two shoes persona, like when he complains that coconut head and niggerman killed the big lizard, I naturally expected to see a degree of antihero behavior, or at least darker thoughts and impulses before him just behaving like a good guy because uhhhh he just is.
I truly expected falafel man getting killed to bring something raw and dark out of him but it just got forgotten and handwaved by comic magic. So again, just wasted potential.
