She's a zoomie Latina and I'm a white millenial so of course not, she considers anything released before 2010 to be "old". But we do find some common ground, I showed her Children of Men and she liked it, we watch stupid classics like Mean Girls, anything romcom or gossip can work with her, or anything related to children.

When I was a teenager I watched a French movie called The Dinner Game with my mom, and we both laughed to death, we had a great time. A few years later, when I was in college, I had this gf and told her to watch that same movie because she asked for a comedy. Not only she didn't laugh once, she explicitly said she found it stupid.

In the end that relationship didn't go anywhere, so word of advice, do what you're already thinking and break up with her.

My gf likes 1920s silents movies, 1930s detective mysteries and serials, 40s noir, 60s/70s italian horror movies, 50s/60s english horror movies and 70s Hammer Horror.
I do too, but not as much a she does. I'm more into sci-fi, from any decade. I like movies that try to be a little realistic and science accurate for their time. Surprisingly there's a lot of them from the 50s and 60s, even among the movies aimed at younger audience.
She has a huge collection of dvds and vhs. I keep my shit on USB drives/my pc.
We never watch movies on our phones.
