It really was. How do you fuck up a zombie movie? Plus they set the stage for some kind of zombie society but never explored it.

The first part of the movie where spikes out with his dad is fucking great, all the way up until they back and have the party, you can pinpoint the moment the movie drops off a cliff when ATJs character goes down on some random woman.
Everything after that is complete rubbish

Not as an installment in this series. Maybe for a lifetime network movie or hallmark coming of age tale. But when I watch a 28 Days Later movie I'm not watching it for that. Did you even watch the other 2 movies?
