Sorry for a japshit thread, but why are most animes so treadful at comedy, it's almost always some woeful corny attempt at embarrassing sex comedy. It's always played out gags like "Roah, did-a the main read rook at-a rady's pantys!" or "Oh my Rod! He accidentarry touch-a that womans boobies". Are the Japanese just simply less funny than us normal people? Maybe there is some genuinely funny animes out there however most of what I have seen is lower tier than the likes nu-Family Guy.

I stopped liking anime when I hit my mid twenties and got married. Everything started to feel like it was the same. I'm still capable of rewatching and enjoying anything I once loved, but can't be introduced to anything new (to me) and that includes older anime.
