I don't think people realize how intertwined Louis CK was with the other best comics of his generation from waaay back. Pretty amazing. We lost a lot when he got cancelled. Louis wasn't just another comedian. He was on the verge of becoming a huge lasting influence on the direction of comedy in America for the next generation. A producer, a pioneer in a new model for ticket sales and promotion breaking the strangle hold of ticket master, mentor to many younger comics with his own vision.
