I liked Snyder's version because it basically sets up Superman massively fucking up on his first day on the job and after that he becomes the boy scout we know. You need to fuck up to learn. It makes more sense. A trilogy where he earns Metropolis's respect by the 3rd movie and dies at the hand of Doomsday after earning the respect of his city would have been better
