Was Hitler unironically a genius?
>total nobody at 30, no connections, no wealth
>became the most promising Politician just 10 years later with nothing but his charisma
>created the most gigantic mass movement in human history from scratch
>created an entire ideology from scratch
>got rid of hunger and unemployment
>gave a defeated and demoralised people their faith and confidence back
>told Germans they're the best people in the world in a time when they were considered a joke
>literally risked his own life in WW1 for his nation
>whenever he spoke the crowd became fucking ecstatic, almost like under a spell
>conquered all of Europe and almost Russia
>conquered more territory than Napoleon or Alexander in a ridiculously short time
>withstood the entire planet for 6 years
>still lost due to betrayal
>went down fighting till the last second, didn't even consider surrendering.

Seriously, was he even a human? There must have
been demonic possession involved or aliens or some shit because there is no way that 1 person can achieve so fucking much in a single lifetime and have such a titanic willpower

He was chosen as a figurehead because people in charge of Germany at the time felt slighted by WW1 and needed a plausible reason to rearm and start shit up again.
Germans are an autistic and aggressive people and if Hitler didn't surface they would've picked someone else from the same pool anyway.

idk if he was a genius considering some of the decisions he made during the war but he is certainly an example of what you can achieve by sheer will and conviction

Hitler was incompetent:

Hitler and the Nazi German state in general were utter retards when it came to international relationships. They signed the anti-comintern pact with Japan, essentially an anti-USSR alliance. Then, without discussing it with their Japenese allies, Germany signs the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact and a trade agreement with the USSR, essentially leaving the Japs out in the cold dealing with the Soviets. So Japan signs their own non-aggression pact with the Soviets and a few months later, Germany invades the Soviet Union.
So when Hitler was asking them to invade Russia from the east, Japan said fuck off and stuck to their non aggression pact. Japan wasnt even attacking American lend-lease ships coming into Vladivostock at the time lol."
"Italy never consulted Germany on declaring war on Britain in 1940, and never consulted Germany on invading Greece.
Likewise Germany never consulted Italy on invading the USSR (until the last minute). Both parties dragged each others into multiple fronts they werent prepared for.
Likeise Germany never leased blueprints for their armaments, leaving Italy with inferior tank designs. Germany also bought up all Romanian oil which left Italy with nothing and thus unable to power their surface navy (which was far superior in number and armament to Cunninghams Mediteranian taskforce, yet Cunningham prevailed in the Mediteranian theater due to this fact.
The whole Axis alliance was a sham compared to the allies. Unlike the allies, the Axis never had leadership summits, never had a joint command, never discussed join strategies, never pooled their resources (like Lend-Lease), never lease their designs or traded knowledge (the British were heavily assisting the Americans to kick-start the Manhattan project, and the British were leased Sherman tank designs)."

Also, the Enigma Machine. Kind of impossible to win a war when the enemy knows exactly what you're going to do before you do it.

>>total nobody at 30, no connections, no wealth
So he wasn't a genius.

>>became the most promising Politician just 10 years later with nothing but his charisma
Nothing but charisma, sheer brutality and and hinge of psychopathy.

>>created the most gigantic mass movement in human history from scratch
He didn't create the NSDAP.

>>created an entire ideology from scratch
See above.

>>got rid of hunger and unemployment
The Weimar republic already did that.

>>gave a defeated and demoralised people their faith and confidence back
They were doing better and better during the Weimar republic, and most Germans did not want Hitler as their dictator.

>>told Germans they're the best people in the world in a time when they were considered a joke
Nobody considered them a joke. In fact people of other nations felt pity for them.

>>literally risked his own life in WW1 for his nation
Yeah like millions of others, get over yourself retard.

>>whenever he spoke the crowd became fucking ecstatic, almost like under a spell
Lots of retarded dealers had this aura about them, read about Idi Amin or any genocidal Asian dictator.

>>conquered all of Europe and almost Russia
Their military accomplishments during WW2 were extremely impressive but most of it was due to genius Field Marshals. Some of the best generals the world has ever seen. Germany will be a formidable military power no matter who is at the top.

>>conquered more territory than Napoleon or Alexander in a ridiculously short time
Not comparable at all. Nobody says Genghis Khan is superior to Napoleon because he held more land.

>>withstood the entire planet for 6 years
"The entire planet" being mostly the Commonwealth and USSR until Pearl Harbor.

>>still lost due to betrayal
He lost because he was a drug-addicted schizo with increasingly delusional take on reality.

>>went down fighting till the last second, didn't even consider surrendering.
He never fought, he told millions of people to die for him.

Much of his rhetoric was from Henry Ford, which for some reason everyone has completely forgotten his genius.

Germany's inability to coordinate an attack against the USSR is ultimately what sealed their fate. Having USSR fight a two front war would have been devastating for Stalin considering how close they were to the breaking point fighting just the western front. The Germans got extremely lucky breaking western Europe. They struck at a time when France was at its weakest and least coordinated. The 6 week invasion of France could have just as easily turned into a 6 month long slug had the initial push failed.
