I haven't seen the new one because I don't like Gunn, but if what I hear is correct, it is miles better than Cavill. Man of Steel is the opposite of what Superman should be. He is serious, brooding, uninspiring, feels more like a villain than anything and Cavill is a charisma black hole.

I watched Superman yesterday and just found out now that it wasn’t Cavill kek

Also I didn’t know Lois Lane was the chick with the nice nudes. The whole time I thought “man her face isn’t what I’d envision as Lois Lane but what a nice rack and ass” then I looked her up just now and saw she indeed has a great set.

The movie was entertaining (the interview-apartment scene just seemed to drag on though) but overall I don’t like AI slop. What exactly does the director do for these movies tell the Pajeet to add more pixels here and there?

Superman (2025) is far from perfect, but it's a million times closer to what a Superman movie should be like. Snyderman is embarrassing (a stiff Brit as Superman, Kents give awful advice, Jor-El feels more alive as a ghost, Lois has no urgency, choosing Zod for the villain sucks balls, whole thing is just dour, murky and desaturated). Man of Steel is the ideal movie for people that never liked Superman to begin with.

If you watched Smallville just before it then it all makes sense. Snyder was a fan of the show and put many references in MOS.
