Doesn't matter. The greatest stories will survive the ages. We still know of mighty Gilgamesh trying to subdue the Enkidu and he only succeded when he gave him a babylonian whore. We still read about how Olysses tricked the people of Ilios with a woodden horse or how Jason and the Argonauts weathered all the dangers of the ancient world and even had mighty Heracles with them.
People of the future will remember our great stories. There will be more.
