Why is this so much better than New Blood?

It isn't. Dexter was never a good show. In fact, no one actually watched any of it either. Most of its viewership totals were books cooked to appease investors. It was typical edgelord slop.

They ruined this show with the ending of Dexter moving to Argentina or some shit like that. As if he wouldn't be caught and extradited, he's not Butch Cassidy in the 1800s, there is no escape in the modern world, particularly not in a large metropolis.

It was a GOT-tier ending.

No it is early enough. No shitty side stories except the autistic cop that listens to staying alive on headphones. Dexter’s story is kino, Harrison is now cool and interesting. Already better than New Blood with all the pointless shit about the townspeople no one cared about.

It was aight to me but got pretty samey. It turned into it wasn’t our protagonist being competent it was just everyone else being a retard. The only people I’ve met who genuinely loved it are women, one of which admitted she masturbated one time watching it and gave no further detail

It feels more like the original seasons and it did the son better. Also New Blood was right in the middle of covid liberal virtue signaling so the entire plot was about stuff like AR-15 bad and governors evil(a plot point dropped awkwardly halfway through the season)

New Blood Harrison was cringe. Resurrection Harrison is kino. And the focus is more on Dexter himself than the show ever was.

The original was corny in a '00s edgelord' kinda way. It was corny then, cornier now. It was never this corny though.

It's black comedy. Resurrection is perfect so far, but we're only 1/3 of the way through the season.

he's a serial killer not a war criminal letter agencies are NOT trying to catch a guy who's smart enough to murder hundreds of people and who manages to escape.
even if they succeed someone will ask the question - how did he escape the country in the first place if they knew about him
