Yookay basically has a real bad food culture and is a nation of shit home cooks. You can make the home cooks all swap to doing entirely Italian dishes and they'd fuck it up horribly. Like the majority of fish and chips are done in vegetable/seed oils now vs. beef tallow, people do gravy with fucking bisto granules, etc. Basic shit that's fucked up all the time. Unless you're a self-loathing cuck, you learn to cook, explore foreign cusines and appreciate them, etc. but eventually circle around to appreciating Yookay cuisine when it's done properly and exploring the stuff that's been forgotten (and a fuck ton has been forgotten)
