I’ve been rewatching I am Jazz over the past couple weeks and holy shit, I have to do something else while I’m watching a lot of it because it makes my skin crawl in both an angry and uncomfortable way. Like if I pay more than half attention to it I’ll get sucked into this vortex of extreme cringe and misery and extreme loathing. I love friendly people. I don't see the value in people "pretending" to be rude assholes every day. But it doesn't contribute to good television. Likewise, there's such a thing as TMI (too much information). Jazz's (botched) surgeries and depression battles and food battles make me feel like a bad person for watching.

I've seen episodes of the show but I don't follow it anymore. Not because lofty moral reasons. Because true physical revulsion as you said.
