I saw the first four of them. Asylum was the only one that actually balanced the "weird and campy" part with some actual character arcs and emotional engagement, the others were just scattered and random. Coven had more or less no horror, and Freak Show was frequently boring with wholly unsympathetic characters. I fell off the show after that.

I can't remember all of them clearly, but after Jessica Lange departed it was a sharp decline I recall

I may have jumbled the order slightly. But yeah the show pretty much went to total shit minus them briefly finding some success cashing in on the 80s fad with Stranger Things. The scripts were always the worst part of the series, and it never got better than the first 2 seasons. The fact that I've seen them all and can't even recall the titles of the later ones is extremely damning
