I don't like it because it's very boring and unappealing. There is nothing to articulate because nothing interesting happens in the show. It's style over substance, but the style is an autistic Japanese manchild's idea of what cool is.
This applies to a shitload of these supposed greats of Japanese animation. A lot of pretty and tall white people standing around looking ''cool'' and smoking and doing ''badass'' moves. It's very infantile. From all I could sit through I didn't get a single reason why I should like Spike or be invested in his story, it felt like I was just supposed to like him because he is 7 feet tall and wears suits and smokes.
