After being hope-baited into watching this movie, I just finished watching and I think those reviewers who said stuff about it inspiring hope and whatever were paid off or something. I don't really want to drag this movie, but its definitely lifted higher than what it really is
very spotty, it doesn't 'introduce' superman even though this is supposed to be like a new movie iteration of him? I don't know, I'm not a superman/superhero movie buff so this is the average person's opinion but even the superman fans probably see the holes in this show.
Didn't really feel a 'spark of hope or inspiration' that people have been selling the movie on, its just another remake

I just want to see a confident version of Superman with real presence — the kind of character who makes you feel like everything’s going to be okay. Cavill was close, but his movies were garbage. It’s not like adapting that kind of Superman is impossible for studios.
