If you had to choose between Jess and Stef, could you?
Anonymous No.213049406 >>213058169

Fantastic pic. For me, Jess would come before literally any actress ever so there's no competition lol. However I still appreciate Stef's films and her role as Sara in Suspiria, which puts her above most by default. The barbed wire scene is actually my favorite part of the entire film.

For me it's Daria Nicolodi, kino actress and without her we wouldn't have Suspiria.

Very true, anon! I consider Daria the queen of giallo; Shock's a great non-Argento horror she starred in for example.
If I'm not mistaken, it was originally her idea to adapt Levana and Our Ladies of Sorrow from Suspiria de Profundis. If only Daria had asked for a bigger part in it. Oh wait, she was supposed to originally supposed to play Suzy Bannion and Dario casting Jess instead caused a permanent rift between them… the more you know.

Not really but I guess it depends on what scares you and what drugs you're on when you watch it.

She couldn't see it, the blue filter in Suspiria means it's dark.

By the way, do you have the webm on you of the two women arguing and Jessica between them doing that cute/weird stare with her big eyes?

So cute.

Really? Didn't know that, i certainly love that scene, especially the explosion of percussion that comes in the music at that moment. But for me it's from when Suzy turns the blue iris to her leaving the school in the rain, those last minutes are just pure elevated kino.

It's really not, and I find that there's not many genres that are more overrated than Italian horror. Argento was OK. Fulci was garbage.

I suspect that you are probably the Harper poster.

Ironic, that was taken from Andy Warhol's Dracula. She goes full frontal unlike in Suspiria.

I wish someone would improve the audio of this kino. Dialogue and music levels are all over the place, they need to be adjusted. Not to mention the terrible occasional dubbing. Still one of my favorite horror movies

Indeed he is! Kier plays Dracula and even bites her neck in one scene. It came out within a month of another cult horror called Phantom of the Paradise, for reference on what their co-star Harper was working on at the same time.

>>213059708
That's the only one I've seen personally but I'd recommend it to anyone into 70s horror or Dracula in general. Tons of off-color humor too.
